PTECH OWNER AND PRESIDENT
Over a decade ago, Scott Pauli founded PTech, an innovative IT company where he serves as President and Owner. Under his leadership, PTech has grown into a forward-thinking organization that leverages both current and emerging technologies to deliver impactful solutions and long-term value to clients.
Scott’s journey began at the age of 17, when he entered bootcamp in the United States Marine Corps immediately after high school. He was stationed in Japan for a year and a half, followed by an assignment at a helicopter base in Tustin, California. He later deployed aboard the USS New Orleans during the Persian Gulf War in 1991. After returning to the U.S. highly decorated, he was honorably discharged, bringing with him the discipline, leadership, and global perspective that continue to shape his professional approach.
Following his military service, Scott pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Los Angeles, and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. He also holds LEED GA accreditation (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Green Associate), underscoring his commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient practices.
His professional career began at Micro Center in customer service, followed by a role as Data Center Supervisor at IndyMac Bank. He then joined Cisco Systems as a Network Engineer, traveling across the U.S. to provision and test fiber optic infrastructure for major telecommunications providers in nearly every major U.S. city.
Later, he took on roles with the Los Angeles Unified School District, advancing from IT Network Engineer and Consultant to Construction and Project Manager, where he oversaw multiple multimillion-dollar IT initiatives. He then spent over six years as a Project Manager at Parsons, leading diverse technology projects before ultimately launching PTech.
Today, Scott Pauli brings over 25 years of experience in IT, project management, and leadership to every client engagement—driven by a passion for innovation, a commitment to excellence, and a deep respect for service.
